About Byrne Asset Management Independent since 1998
BAM is an employee-owned, fee-only investment adviser based in Kingston, New Jersey. We manage investments and provide financial planning for individuals, families, businesses, and institutions.
Investment management and planning under one roof
Byrne Asset Management was founded in Princeton in 1998 and is now based in Kingston, New Jersey. We are an SEC-registered investment adviser serving clients in New Jersey and across the country.
The firm combines portfolio management, investment research, financial planning, and client service in one team. Clients can speak directly with the people responsible for their portfolios and plans, rather than moving between a salesperson, a service desk, and an unseen investment department.
Independent and fee-only
BAM is paid by clients for advice and investment management. We do not receive commissions for selling financial products.
Employee-owned
The firm is owned by members of the team. The people serving clients have a direct stake in BAM’s standards, continuity, and reputation.
Directly accountable
Clients know who manages their money, who prepares their financial analysis, and who to call when a question arises.
Three kinds of client relationships
The work differs by client, but the same investment team and fiduciary standard sit behind each relationship.
- Portfolio management and asset allocation
- Retirement, education, estate, and decision analysis
- Direct access to portfolio managers and a CFP®
- 401(k), SEP IRA, and SIMPLE IRA plans
- Payroll, compliance, and plan coordination
- Financial-planning access for plan participants
- U.S. Small Cap and Large Cap Value
- Investment Grade Fixed Income
- OCIO policy, implementation, and oversight
Research, advice, and implementation stay connected
-
Portfolio managers conduct the research
The people responsible for client portfolios also evaluate securities, construct strategies, and monitor the resulting positions.
-
Planning informs investment decisions
Cash needs, taxes, retirement timing, family circumstances, and other planning facts are considered when portfolios are built and adjusted.
-
Clients can reach the decision-makers
Questions do not have to pass through a separate sales or relationship-management layer before reaching someone who can answer them.
The people you meet are the people doing the work.
BAM does not separate clients from the investment and planning teams behind their advice. Every relationship has named professionals responsible for the portfolio, the planning work, and the next conversation.
See who would manage the relationship
Meet the portfolio managers, planners, analysts, and operations professionals behind BAM’s client work.
